Why to invert the Percentage Change color for a Metric

There are some cases where an increase in the Metric value does not signify an improvement in performance, and vice versa. In those cases, an increase in the Metric value should be displayed in red while a decrease in the Metric value should be displayed in green. Examples of these Metrics are CPC, Bounce Rate and Email Unsubscribers.

How to change the percentage change color for Basic and Calculated Metrics

For all Basic Metrics (i.e., those that are available by default from an integration), the percentage change color is set by Japio developers and these inverted cases should be accounted for. However, there may be cases where your company’s interpretation of a Metric is different than others.

For example, some companies view an increase in the Facebook Ads Metric “Amount Spent” as a positive change, since it signifies additional exposure, while other companies view an increase in “Amount Spent” as a negative change, since more money is being spent.
